‘You Don’t Call Anymore’ is the second release from UB40’s collaboration album ‘Bigga Baggariddim’ this track features Kioko’s Matt Doyle on lead vocals and is the perfect foil to UB40’s own cut.
Kioko are well known on the Birmingham music scene after unforgettable gigs at places like the Hare And Hounds, where UB40 made their debut four decades earlier. Three years ago they were invited to play at the Birmingham Music Awards, where they played One In Ten in tribute to members of UB40 in the audience.

“They really did remind us of us, because when we started out we were this gang of mates, having a ball and feeling a little bit full of ourselves, just like them,” says Robin, laughing. “We were so impressed by them that we offered them a support slot on the 40th Anniversary tour, and they’ve done a lot of shows with us since then.”
