Luisa Osdoba was born in Buenos Aires on October 15, 1954. She died on December 2, 2018 in this city. Given her early interest in art, from the age of 6 she studied Drawing and Painting with different teachers. She traveled to the United States where he attended courses and seminars at various institutions such as the Brooklyn Art Museum and the Kingsbourough Community College of New York. She obtained a scholarship to study at the Pratt Art Institute of New York. Upon returning to the country, she continued her training in Drawing and Painting with different teachers (Virginia Lavado, Miguel Warnes, Carlos Terribili and Oscar Capristo).
She held individual and group exhibitions in art galleries in Argentina and abroad: Brazil (Recife), Chile (Santiago, Rancagua), Cuba (Havana, Varadero), Ecuador (Cuenca), United States (Miami, New York). ) and Puerto Rico (Guyanilla, Peñuelas, San Juan). She obtained awards and distinctions from different official and private cultural entities.
Many of his works illustrate the covers of books, magazines and CDs, published in different countries in America.
She was a staff member of the International Magazine of Culture and Art Francachela and the site El Muro Cultural. She made comments and critiques of artistic exhibitions in different media.
Comments and criticisms about her work were published in various international media in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, the United States and Puerto Rico.
She curated different painting exhibitions in Argentina and abroad.
Institutions and private collections in the country and abroad have works of his authorship.
She taught Drawing and Painting at her atelier in the Flores neighborhood.
Graduate in Psychology, Specialist in Clinical Psychology, he dedicated himself to clinical activity. He taught undergraduate and postgraduate university teaching at various universities (UBA, UB, Bar Illán, Marina Mercante, de la Costa), in training of professionals in the clinical area and case supervision. He published articles in specialized magazines. He spoke on topics of art and psychology at institutions in the country and abroad.
