This is our submission to @nprmusic for the Tiny Desk Contest!
This song "Inked in Red" is about my struggles dealing with PTSD from Afghanistan and being a Firefighter and Paramedic. I wrote it at a time in my life when I thought I was going to lose that mental battle and I wasn't going to be around much longer if I didn't make active efforts to get better. It was the hardest time I've ever been through, but music and my bandmates significantly helped me get through that time.

I hope that this song finds those that might need it, whether you're a veteran, a first responder, or a human with a wounded heart.
