Vukovi - SLO (Bass cover/rework)

I'm doing a little project, adding bass to all the songs on NULA; this video uses the vinyl recording, remastered by myself. Ever since I discovered Vukovi in 2017, they immediately became one of my favourite bands. As much as I love them, and the critics are starting to as well, the two-piece direction without a true bassist in the band has left me feeling like there's some sonic space to fill.

SLO is a great driving pop song, but I wanted to explore filling out both the mix and the harmonic potential. So here's my bass cover/re-work, making use of that major/lydian interplay you don't usually find in pop/metal crossover songs.

Fun Fact: co-written with two of the Spice Girl's songwriters!
