Vybz Kartel, King of the Dancehall (self-proclaimed, but it's valid in his case) released Gon' Get Better (Gonna Get Better) in 2015 in co-operation with TJ Records (and obviously his own record company, Adidjahiem Records). The first time I heard this song was on Funx Reggae (Dutch radio channel), which was just before I went to Vancouver in March 2016. The song was stuck in my head, and has been the theme-song of the whole trip.

In response to Vybz' song, Fifth Harmony made a song called "Gonna Get Better" in the perspective of the girl (Vybz is singing Gon' Get Better in the perspective of the man). Many people complained about Fifth Harmony copying/stealing his song, but it you listen, and compare the lyrics closely, you will notice the songs have different perspectives:
