🎸 "We Are The Millennials" (part of "Open Borders" - March 28th 2025 with @symphonicdistro & @labeljazzfamily ) is a double tribute : to the band "Nirvana" and to my generation (Generation Y a.k.a. The Millennials).

I was ten when "MTV Unplugged in New York" was released, and I remember being smashed by this soft power version of my favorite tune "Come As You Are", as many of my friends who enjoyed playing this famous pattern on their guitar.

I turned 40 this year, and while improvising on my little Una Corda piano that sounds like a folk guitar, I thought I should make a tribute, and show my respect to my brothers and sisters who incarnated in a tricky moment of humanity, and to Dave Grohl, who's autobiography inspired me a lot. That's why "We Are The Millennials" starts with the same melodic figure as "Come As You Are". 🥁
