hi, thank you so so much for getting me to 1000 subscribers!! i really can't believe my small playlist channel has grown so much since i first started posting less than a year ago. this is why i decided to post this playlist - it is not comprised of typically nostalgic songs for certain eras of childhood, but instead ones that i feel represent it best: dancing in the garden with your siblings at dusk. sitting in the kitchen eating breakfast on a sunny saturday morning. building silly pillow forts in the living room. long car drives, staring out of the window and chasing raindrops. the scrape of rough bark on your hands as you clamber up the boughs of a tree. the sweet burst of flavour on your tongue as you bite into a glossy red apple. dewy morning grass staining your pants. most of these songs mean a lot to me on a more personal level. i hope you can get as much out of them as i do, whether you listen to this to remember or to forget. once again, thank you for making this channel a reality - i wouldn't have gotten this far without you ♡
