There have been few acoustic accompaniment performances on the guitar that have been as motivating as Dan Kanter's exhilarating work on Justin Bieber's acoustic version of "What Do You Mean".
Using a Gibson Songbird acoustic guitar tuned up 1/2 step, Kanter takes this standard four-chord progression and supercharges it with a classical/modern right hand rhythmic approach that gives this acoustic version the chops to rival the original electric offering.
This is part one of a two- part tutorial of "What Do You Mean", which focuses on the intro and verses. The final installment (Part two) will wrap up the tune with the chorus, bridge, and interludes.
