Description

I made this video because there is nothing like it I can find on YouTube and I've had people ask or say "why is bass important in metal", "why is bass so quiet" or "what is the point of the bass, you can't hear it anyway" and even "Bass isn't meant to be heard..." and I'm sick of it. And this manly comes from guitarists...who don't even write or record songs.

I'm in no way trying to say that the bass is the most important instrument. But it is an instrument that should be in metal and shouldn't be so quiet in the mix. If someone can't hear the bass I would say "get better headphones" or "listen to iron maiden" any good band you can clearly hear the bass. In this video there are a few examples of this.

The songs in this video are:
Peace sells-Megadeth
The trooper-Iron maiden
Sweet leaf-black Sabbath
For whom the bell tolls-Metallica
The intro and outro to this video is Orion-Metallica (bass track)
The music in this video belongs to the musicians above who made it.
