Description
How did SpongeBob’s laugh change from this… to this…?…to this? After doing some research, the answer might be even darker than we'd hoped.“Tom Kenny, the voice of SpongeBob, uses a special hand technique to create SpongeBob's iconic laugh. In an interview with Vanity Fair, he revealed that he developed a scar on his neck from doing these same motions for 20 years. However, later in that same interview, he claims that the scar is from something else and that the show is not to blame for. But Is this really true, though?
Another possibility for his voice change is because Tom’s voice naturally changes over time. As time passes, Tom also gets older.
SpongeBob’s laugh is maybe different now—but it’s still the same goofball we all love. And to be honest, I can't picture SpongeBob without Tom Kenny's voice. Did you guys notice it too? Let me know!
