The classic version. If "Lollipops & Roses" made Jack a big name then this song made him a star. Written by Burt Bacharach & Hal David, this recording went on to win Jack a Grammy award. Dismissed in some quarters these days for being "sexist", Jack has his own thoughts - "It's of its time, it's tongue in cheek... it's a great song and people still want to hear it. I'm sorry it bothers some people".
He is of course, correct.
"Wives And Lovers" did indeed make Jack a star and it comes from the 1963 album of the same name that includes new songs as well as previous ones that largely went under the radar at their time of release.
