Peony Pavilion, the most outstanding representative work of Chinese #KunquOpera written by Tang Xianzu over 400 years ago, encompasses delicate lyrics and graceful melodies. The “youth edition” of Peony Pavilion presented by Suzhou Kunqu Opera Theater of Jiangsu, retains traditional singing meanwhile integrates modern music aesthetics. Considerable interlude music and dance music enrich the expressive force, presenting a colorful audio-visual feast for the audience.
